Last week, Rijk Zwaan organized a special event to launch Sensational Flavours in the United States. Introducing this product line on another continent, is a proof of the continuing success of Sensational Flavours.

Sensational Flavours consists of vegetable varieties that distinguish themselves by giving a special taste experience. After successful introductions in Europe and Asia, the official launch of this product line in the United States – with its large market and interesting top segment - was the logical next step. In tomato, sweet pepper and melon, for example, Rijk Zwaan has a number of very tasteful varieties in the assortment that deserve special attention.

Inspiring and impressive

To celebrate the official launch in the United States, Rijk Zwaan invited a group of large scale growers, trading companies and retailers. During this gathering, culinary expert Greg Drescher gave a very interesting presentation about culinary trends, which was a truly inspiring story for all the attendants. After this, the guests could enjoy a number of very special dishes, based on the varieties of Sensational Flavours. They were clearly impressed by these ‘sensational varieties’ and showed a lot of interest in the marketing possibilities.

Rijk Zwaan will continue to expand Sensational Flavours by adding more new varieties, as well as launching it in new markets.
