As a wholly owned subsidiary, Rijk Zwaan Australia was founded in Daylesford, Victoria in 1987. We undertake counter-season seed production and Research and Development (R&D) activities at our two Victorian sites, Daylesford and Bacchus Marsh, and subtropical R&D activities in Gatton, Queensland.

With a strong company culture and a ‘people first’ approach, we employ approximately 80 staff throughout Australia, working across seed production, R&D and sales. Our dedicated team works hard towards producing and ensuring the continued supply of high quality and innovative vegetable seeds for our customers.
