Alcaraz is a broccoli variety highly suitable for fresh market and fresh market processing. Alcaraz is a summer/early autumn variety with a growing cycle of 65-70 days. Due to it’s short cycle, good tolerance to brown/yellow buds, nice round dome shape and flexibility in harvest window, the final product can be considered as high quality. The average crown weight is between 450 – 500 grams but can be higher under different growing conditions without loosing it’s shape.
