2016 National Horticulture Convention breaks attendance records

Convention a great success!

With record-breaking attendances at the recent 2016 National Horticulture Convention, Rijk Zwaan was delighted to participate as an exhibitor at the Trade Show.

‘The Trade Show provided a unique platform to catch up with many growers and stakeholders within a very short amount of time.  It also allowed us to showcase some of our range and tell our story.  We wish to thank everyone that dropped by’, said Paul Connolly, Rijk Zwaan’s Sales Representative for South-East Queensland.

In particular Rockmelon Caribbean King RZ and Piel de Sapo melon Ricura RZ were a real hit with visitors to the stand, and many took away a treat bag of snack tomato Florantino RZ.

Together with AUSVEG, six bodies co-hosted the event:  APAL, CMAA-FMA, Growcom, Persimmons Australia Inc, and Australian Organic, bringing together a diverse range of horticultural interests.

‘These were a few growers that I hadn’t caught up with for years so that was good.  The Exhibition was very well organised and we wish to thank the AUSVEG Board led by Chair, Geoff Moar.  Overall, we were pleased to be part of it’, said Paul.
