Description
Stormram RZ is a tomato rootstock, developed for crops in tropical and subtropical humid regions, where bacterial wilt pressure is a key challenge. It combines high resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fol:0–2, also referred to as F3) and observed strength against Bacterial Wilt (Ralstonia solanacearum) as well as an improvement in vigour.
Stormram delivers a higher level of vigour than earlier Bacterial Wilt resistant rootstocks, while maintaining a good growth balance. Recommended for open-field and protected cropping systems and is particularly suited to regions where Bacterial Wilt is present, such as soil-grown tomato production in warm, humid climates. It is not intended for high-tech production systems.
